Time to Scrub

One of the things we love at the Living Pure Australia head office is spoiling ourselves. We are not ashamed to admit that we love taking time out. You could be interpreting this as we are spoilt and do not enjoy working. Rather, we love working so much especially at the gorgeous Living Pure Australia Docklands waterfront office. What we mean is that amongst the hectic-ness of life, taking time out is an essential part of our self care regimen.

Everywhere we look, busy has become the new norm. It seems that over-scheduling and being overwhelmingly busy is the disease of this new working generation. People actually argue over who is busier or more stressed. It’s amazing how wearing stress and work anxieties can be read as a status symbol.

Not at Living Pure.

Not Now.

Not Ever.

Living Pure stands for balance, integrity and experiencing all of the joys life offers. When we are in a state of hype and intensity, there is little time for balance and calmness. Infact, it is so disastrous that the more we avoid taking time out to nurture our body, mind and soul, the more likely we are to suffer with premature ageing, physical and mental deterioration and becoming ill.

All of this brings us to the notion that self care is really just an opportunity to destress and allow the body and mind to declutter. When we employ a level of de-stressing and decompressing into our day, we release an array of feel good hormones such as serotonin and endorphins.

One of our favourite ways to decompress for the day is a simple bathing ritual. We start with a beautifully fragrant bath. To the bath we add warm water, a few drops of lavender essential oil and bathe with Living Pure’s own lavender natural soap and a warming cup of tea infused with Living Pure Manuka Active to boost our immune syste

When we are limited by time or want to extend the bathing ritual we love to make homemade beauty scrubs for the face, hands and body. The art of making scrubs is so easy, you are only limited by your imagination. However, we are partial to a few. So remove the thick winter warmers and prepare for the skin to be seen.
